Air Ideal Now a Certified Minority-Owned Business, Announces Vijay Biradar as Partner and Chief Executive Officer

Air Ideal, a leading commercial and luxury residential HVAC service provider in New York City and Long Island, today announced Vijay Biradar as majority Partner and Chief Executive Officer. A groundbreaking announcement, Biradar’s appointment officially marks Air Ideal’s status as a Certified Minority-Owned Business in its near-century-long existence.

Graduating Manhattan College with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Biradar brings 15 years of unparalleled HVAC experience to Air Ideal. With expertise in budgeting and estimating, on top of project execution and completion, Biradar uses this cumulative knowledge to guide clients and the business towards a brighter future.

With Biradar now at the helm, Air Ideal is officially a Certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) under Article 15-A of the Executive Law — which demarcates a business be “at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned, operated and controlled by citizens or permanent resident aliens who [meet] the ethnic definitions” of either Black, Hispanic, Asian-Pacific, Asian-Indian Subcontinent, or Native American/Alaskan Native.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Biradar served as an Estimator for Admore Air Conditioning Corporation in Yonkers, New York for over 10 years. Joining the Air Ideal team in 2017, Biradar touts several major accomplishments — including winning multiple high profile fitouts in NYC and “completing a multi-floor fit out for Macy’s in Long Island City,” which Biradar notes “gave us the confidence to go against the larger competitors in the market.”
